Description:
Hanger 9\'s now dis-continued .60 size P-51 Miss America. Robart air retracts with modified Robart tailwheel mechanism made to rotate forward for scale. Struts have shocks made from fuel tube (no rebound). Scale doors. Retracts rotate slow and staggered. Airscoop was hollowed out to function very close to scale. The rear exit door works (manual/auto) and is mixed from throttle and L.G. Open at low throttle. Starts to close at 50% throttle, and fully closed at 100%. L.G. down overides this door to fully open. This duct was integrated to the fuselage interior to create a cooling effect to the power system via a venturi effect. Power system stays at 95F even in New Mexico summer. Throttle mixed to Aux2 for Kill Switch (Safety). Very scale speeds and aerobatics.
