Description:
De Havilland D.H. 88 Comet "Black Magic" is scale model 1:4 and is built complete in wood. Parts are designed with CAD and manufactured with a CNC-machine. A NACA 2412 is used with a 2° wing-twisting, longitudal dihedral is 1.1° The rectractable landing gear is self-made from aluminium. The plane has landing light and flaps. When the speed of the Comet is not too slow, everything is OK. In my opinion the speed of the Comet is scale, the original made "only" 400 kmh. Max current of motor at 7s lipols and APC-E 17x10 is about 42A. Flight time is approx. 6-7 minutes.
